Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device. Vehicles, odometer readings and your service log are stored only in your browser's local storage. MileMark has no accounts and no server, and it does not collect, sell or share your data.

Photos. Receipt and odometer photos you add are kept only on your device, and odometer scanning is done on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.

No tracking. MileMark uses no analytics, ads or tracking cookies.

License check. When you activate MileMark, your license key is sent to Gumroad to confirm the purchase. Gumroad's own privacy policy covers that check and your purchase.

Recall check. To look up recalls, your phone asks the U.S. government's NHTSA recall service for your vehicle's make, model and year. Nothing else is sent, and no VIN is ever used.

Notifications and calendar. Reminders are created by your own browser or calendar app. Nothing is sent to us.

Hosting. The app is served by GitHub Pages, which may log standard technical request data such as IP addresses.

Deleting data. Remove a vehicle in the app, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
